Photo courtesy of New TimesThis month, Rwandair have launched a new direct service to Mwanza, their 3rd destination in Tanzania. Departures will be three times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays), and will use a Bombardier Dash8-200 aircraft with a 37 passenger seating capacity. Previously, clients travelling from Northern Serengeti to Rwanda had to route via Kilimanjaro to the east or take the Coastal Aviation daily shared charter service from Mwanza – though this requires a minimum number of 2 passengers or a surcharge is applied.

This new move by Rwandair will allow Journeys Discovering Africa to offer more choices when creating tailor-made East African safari holidays, creating affordable alternatives for our customers in these increasingly price-sensitive times.
