Saving A Species, One Gorilla At A Time

March 28, 2014

We would like to share with you this excellent video from our partner charity Gorilla Doctors. This team of dedicated veterinarians are committed to saving the lives of mountain gorillas and Grauer’s gorillas through providing hands on healthcare in the forests of Central Africa.

With less than 900 mountain gorillas left in the world, we think their work is so vital that for every person that joins Journeys Discovering Africa on safari in Rwanda, we make a small but significant donation to their cause.

For guests particularly interested in learning more about their work, we can arrange for a behind-the-scenes tour of the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project (the Musanze based headquarters for the Gorilla Doctors team) or even a private dinner with one of the team themselves.

So please sit back and enjoy their video, but if you would like to make a donation, you can also visit their website for further details.
