Mahogany Springs overlooks the Munyaga river valley, and it is located just outside the Bwindi National Park, making it an ideal base for your gorilla tracking excursion

Elegant Style

The large cottages are floored with wooden decking, each with a private balcony overlooking the valley below. The style is elegant and minimalist, with much use of local materials and labour during the lodge construction. In the large dining room is a well-stocked bar and restaurant. Guests can choose to dine inside on chilly nights, or under the stars on the large wrap-around patio when the weather is fair.

At The Forest's Edge

The lodge's location means that it is close to the start of many of the gorilla tracking and birding excursions on offer in Bwindi. Its pampering surroundings provide something to look forward to after a day spent hiking through the humid and mountainous forest.
