Sweetwaters Tented Camp

Safari Highlights

Sweetwaters Tented Camp, part of the popular Serena group, offers a classic blend of under-canvas safari ambience coupled with some old school luxury. The camp lies in the heart of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, on the scenic Laikipia plains.

Sweetwaters Tented Camp, Ol Pejeta Conservancy Kenya

Sheltered Oasis

Nestling deep inside the private Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Sweetwaters has 39 luxury tented rooms, each with its own verandah overlooking a central waterhole. The property was once a colonial farm, and the restaurant is in the former farm manager's house. The adjacent lounge bar has a traditional log fire, with an additional bar offering unrivalled wildlife-viewing at the waterhole.

Animal Magic

Ol Pejeta Conservancy is home to all the members of the ‘Big Five' (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard) and has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park. Ol Pejeta also boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya. The conservancy is also home to a variety of other endangered animal species and a night or two here will delight all wildlife lovers.
