uganda safari, mountain, gorillas, africa, uganda, tracking, Journeys Discovering AfricaThe 2011 census of the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is underway, with the results expected to be announced at the end of the year. Researchers are looking to estimate the total population size of the Bwindi gorillas (in 2006, numbers were estimated at 340). This year, there will be six teams with members from different organisations in Uganda, Rwanda and DRC taking part in the survey. What do you think the new gorilla population size will be?
