Hemingways Collection opens 5 star boutique hotel in Nairobi

April 29, 2013

The Kenyan luxury property portfolio, The Hemingways Collection, has finally opened its doors to their new 45-suite boutique hotel in Nairobi. Other properties within the group are the famous beach resort at Watamu and the exclusive Ol Seki safari camp bordering the Maasai Mara.

Hemingways Nairobi is peacefully located within Karen, a popular suburb of Nairobi, with each of its rooms offering beautiful views of the Ngong Hills. The result of nearly two years of effort, its contemporary styled interiors look out over 10 acres of landscaped gardens.

The hotel prides itself on their unique personal butler service. Amongst other services, guests can have their safari linens pressed around the clock and your butler will even take care of carefully unpacking or packing your bags. Hemingways Nairobi has even hired Kenya’s first ever Michelin-starred Chef to oversee the dining experience, completing the recipe for another great place to stay at the start or end of your Kenya safari.

For when it comes to upmarket options in Kenya’s capital, Hemingways Nairobi forms a lavish quartet with Giraffe Manor, Hogmead and House of Wayne as fellow purveyors of fine accommodation. So while its no problem finding hotels of the very highest standard in Nairobi, it may be a problem deciding which one to pick.
