On safari to Rwanda and Uganda – with JDA clients Marja and Minna

June 20, 2012

Marja and Minna visited our little corner of Africa from Finland, to enjoy a gorilla tracking safari in Rwanda and Uganda with Journeys Discovering Africa.

They visited these gentle giants in both areas where they are still found in the wild: the Virunga chain of volcanoes in northern Rwanda and Bwindi Forest in south-west Uganda. In total, they completed two days of gorilla tracking.

With human encroachment and habitat destruction increasingly threatening the survival of these beautiful and endangered primates, having enjoyed magical encounters with both populations of gorillas will be an incredible memory and an amazing achievement.

To view an itinerary similar to the one they enjoyed, take a look at the Rwanda Primates safari on our website or email one of our tour consultants at enquiries@journeysdiscoveringafrica.com to design your own safari.
