Gunn’s Camp

overview

Safari Highlights

Located on the remote Ntswi Island, deep in the south western Okavango Delta, Gunn's Camp is comprised of just 6 expansive luxury canvas tents.

Although, it is a mere 20 minute flight from Maun, Gunn's is located in one of the most remote parts of the Delta and is only accessible through its own private airstrip.  The epitome of Delta camps, it looks out onto Chief's Island and the Moremi Game Reserve, and activities at the camp revolve around the juxtaposition of land and water. Motorboat and dugout 'mokoro' excursions and game walks on Chief's Island are how you experience the wildlife here.

Each tent is set on a raised wooden platform, and has an en-suite bathroom featuring a standalone bath and a private outside shower. Every one of the six tents is set into the trees of the island, and is luxuriously furnished, with a lounge and private deck. The rooms are connected to the main area by raised walkways that keep you out of the water, and the camp comes complete with a pool. Gunn's is one of the top camps in the Delta, and with good reason.
