Reviews about Journeys Discovering Africa

Kibale Forest National Park

overview

Safari Highlights

Chimpanzee, UgandaThis morning, we will transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before heading out to man's closest relative, the Chimpanzee, in his natural habitat. Kibale Forest harbours as many as 13 different primate species, including Chimps, so we are likely to encounter some other wildlife along the way, including Black & White Colobus and Red Tailed Monkeys.

Later this afternoon, we enjoy a walk at a nearby wetlands conservation project, run by the Bigodi community. More monkeys and bird life abound - see if you can spot a Great Blue Turaco - a common sight on this guided walk.
