Reviews about Journeys Discovering Africa

Sanctuary Puku Ridge Camp

overview

Safari Highlights

Sanctuary Puku Ridge Camp is a tented camp in a remote, private location in the South Luangwa National Park. It is named for the puku antelope that abounds here.

Amazing Location

Blending into the background, each of the seven tents are huge, and come complete with indoor and outdoor showers, a bath and a private viewing deck not for removed from the plains beyond. Gourmet meals can be taken in the central dining area, or in the privacy of your own room. The camp's elevated position on a hill overlooking a floodplain means that the daily drama of the African bush is never far away.

Top Class in Every Way

Puku Ridge Camp is renowned for its service and food. Combine this with its location and outstanding game viewing, and you have the makings of a real gem. The camp does the South Luangwa justice, and a quick review of the game sightings reveals that two or three days here can be some of the most memorable you have enjoyed on safari anywhere in Africa.
